Book Review by #LITEROMA :: "Golden Wings" by Srijoy Mitra

** Thanks to the author for sharing a review copy of the book.** ** Thanks to our reviewer Satabdi Banerjee for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. ** Book: Golden Wings Author: Srijoy Mitra Publications: Literoma Format: Kindle/Paperback Genre: Fiction Pages: 263 Srijoy is a great storyteller. The narration of his book, "Golden Wings" is very promising which will let the reader grow more imaginary to what next to follow. The character named Anicetus is set on a journey of self-exploration and eventually, the story takes up a wonderful plot of a real-time student's life in daily living. So Srijoy with his artistry is able to justify a good story to all his readers where we know and experience and empathize with the character Anicetus. With my best wishes I will rate this book a 5*/5*. I wish Srijoy a very well life ahead in anticipation we hear more weaved stories we love to read from him. Book Review by #LITEROMA :: "Lady in Red" by Dr. Shankar Kashyap

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book.** ** Thanks to our reviewer Kiran K Adharapuram for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. ** Book Name: Lady in Red: A Collection of Love poems Author: Shankar Kashyap Format: Kindle Edition Blurb: A collection of love poetry like no other. There are forty five poems composed in different formats to suit the mood of the poem – Sonnet, ballad, Ode, Villanelle and Tanka. or those interested in Persian poetry, there are many in the form of Ghazals and Rubaiyat. My View: When it comes to literature “LOVE” & “Romance” always take the lead. As the title says this book is assemblage of 45 beautiful pearls. The preface starts: Love is a four letter word which has produced every emotion known to man. Love is a beautiful feeling that every individual who is born in this word experiences it in many forms before he/she departs. Be it mother’s love, sibling love, elderly love etc etc. The author has been

** Thanks to the author for sharing a review copy of the book.** ** Thanks to our reviewer Satabdi Mukherjee for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. ** Some stories hold your attention with their fast-paced narrative, whereas others capture the senses with the musicality of their language. Mitra succeeds in bewitching the reader solely with the powerful imagery evoked by his descriptions. Every character, every situation, and every emotion is painted in detail using a wide palette of colourful language. It is hard not to form a parallel storyline in one's head while reading the book—sort of a movie going on up there—while flipping through the chapters. The vivid description of the preparation Anicetus goes through to get into the prestigious school that holds the promise of transforming his very life is immensely relatable. The pressure to study and secure admission to the school, egged on by his lawyer father, nearly drives Anicetus crazy. However, securing admissi

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book.** ** Thanks to our reviewer Satabdi Mukherjee for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. ** Love is a theme that has given birth to all manner of literature. This universal emotion has undergone all sorts of literary treatments, yet there is always room for more. Everybody experiences love in a different way, thus there are infinite ways in which it finds an outlet. One such medium of expression is Shankar Kashyap's collection of poems, titled after the first piece in the book. More than the actual poems themselves, what I found fascinating were the multiple formats in which the poems were composed. Did you know that villanelle is a powerful Italian format that particularly lends itself to the description of troubled love? Of course, the usual suspects–the ode, ghazal, ballad, couplet, sonnet, and Rubaiyat—are present. Some other poetic forms, such as the triolet, acrostics, minnesang, rondeau, and free ve
