Film Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘HELLO MAMMA’ by Euphoria Films (1st Review)

** Thanks to Euphoria Films for requesting us to review their new release. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Sonal Pokharna Nahar for reviewing the short film on behalf of Literoma. ** Film Presentation:- “Hello Mamma” is a mobile short film in social awareness genre which talks about fight against depression of modern womanhood. Screenplay presents the issue so effectively that it leaves a permanent impact on viewer's mind. Equal credit of addition to the glory of film should be given to the actors Anupama Negi and Vineeth MV. Anupama Negi plays lead role of the North Indian girl working in private sector far from home in South India. Vineeth MV plays the role of local South Indian boy, who is travelling in an office cab, where the whole story is narrated. Along with screenplay and acting, Dialogues also play a very vital role in making a film successful. The original story being written in a conversational note, there not have been much changes in the Dialogues of the film.

Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘ZENOVA 20’ by Reetwika Banerjee (2nd Review)

** Thanks to author for sharing a review copy of the book. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Sayan Basak for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** BOOK HIGHLIGHTS:-  Paperback: 156 pages  Publisher: White Falcon Publishing Platform (2016)  Language: English  ISBN-10: 1943851441  ISBN-13: 978-1943851447 AT A GLANCE:- 'Zenova 20 – Finest Assortment of Short Stories’ is a pool of whims and fancies perceived through author’s inner eye, depicted in the form of humble short stories in similar strokes of her debut book ‘Fantastic 40’. It contains 20 crispy short stories, written in simple English- mostly encompassing the nine human emotions (nava ras) enthralled through our five senses. Though a work of fiction, the readers would be easily able to relate themselves with many of the characters depicted in the stories. Target readers will mostly aim young adults, however, it will also attract anyone who enjoys perspective based plots, supernatural orientations, social enl

** Thanks to author for sharing a review copy of the book. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Sonal Pokharna Nahar for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** ‘Zenova20’ by Reetwika Banerjee is a collection of 20 short stories on different subjects like travelogue, Human relations, Human emotions, psychology, untold sacrifices and many more. It is a pleasant roller coaster ride which takes you to zenith of literary satisfaction. Author has done a splendid job by narrating stories in such a way that readers feel themselves as a part of it. Flow of events as well as language used is amazing. I would love to do special mention of two stories, ‘fourteen years of unnoticed sacrifice’ and ‘Maa, are you listening?’ ‘Fourteen years of unnoticed sacrifice’ is heart touching tale of sacrifice done by Urmila, who was Laxman’s wife in Ramayana which was never appreciated. The way Author has narrated it touches the heart. Another one ‘Maa, are you listening?’ is the beautiful tale of re

Film Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘ADHURA’ by Euphoria Films (4th Review)

** Thanks to Euphoria Films for requesting us to review their new release. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Sonal Pokharna Nahar for reviewing the short film on behalf of Literoma. ** Film Presentation:- Adhura as a Short film in Silent category is definitely a great watch, which depicts a different angle of love. The screenplay was so beautifully written that it keeps viewers engrossed till the end. As compared to other short films, Adhura stands out because of its steady depiction of scenes and beautiful song. The Song added to glory of this piece of art. Credit of Making “Adhura” a complete package goes to amazing acting skills of its key players as well.  Praveen Shrivastava as Sudipto, Ajoy Chakraborty as Sujoy, Amita Bharat as Mira, and Dhruv Jha as Bunny acted so well that without even a single dialogue each and every emotion touches viewer's heart. Film Adaptation – “Adhura” is based on Original micro story titled “One Rainy Day” from book named ‘Fantastic 40’ by Re

** Thanks to Euphoria Films for requesting us to review their new release. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Rinku for reviewing the short film on behalf of Literoma. ** Film Presentation:- Adhura as a short film is definitely a good watch with a different angle of love in the plot. Compared to other short films which generally start in a hurry, this one rather started little slow; but the perfect filler was its soulful song. Very aptly placed. You will hardly find any short film to portray a full length original song of its own. For that, Adhura stands out from the crowd. Another beautiful aspect of the film was its silence. No dialogues yet so much of emotions conveyed. The Director did a good job here. Unnecessary romantic conversations could have diluted the gravity of the content. The review will be incomplete without making a mention of the acting skill of all the key players, especially Praveen and Dhruv. Their screen-shares demand a special mention, majorly where they had

Film Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘ADHURA’ by Euphoria Films (2nd Review)

** Thanks to Euphoria Films for requesting us to review their new release. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Tee Kay for reviewing the short film on behalf of Literoma. ** Dark Romance genre films are not only rare in India but also in the international space, especially when it comes down to short films. As a viewer, I generally do not prefer to watch films with the ageold concept of love triangle, loneliness in love, sacrifice and so on. While I started watching this film 'Adhura', I felt it to be just another film of similar thoughts. However the sudden twist at the end left be dumbstruck. I don't know whether I should be saying this as a male senior citizen, but the heavy impact of the climax on my mind deferred writing my review for over a week. And perhaps there lies the success of 'Adhura'. Its not only unconventional, but aslo very bold keeping our common social mindset in consideration. I must appreciate the writer Reetwika Banerjee for her guts to w

Film Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘ADHURA’ by Euphoria Films (1st Review)

** Thanks to Euphoria Films for requesting us to review their new release. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Sayan Basak for reviewing the short film on behalf of Literoma. ** The short film "ADHURA" is based on- Reetwika Banerjee’s original micro story ‘One Rainy Day’ published in her debut book ‘Fantastic 40’ in 2014. About ‘One Rainy Day’- A perfect micro story which amalgamates love, friendship, separation with emptiness keeping the romantic rainy day as the backdrop. The story gives us a different perspective of a friendship. Friends are a strange, volatile, contradictory, yet sticky phenomenon. They are made, crafted, shaped, moulded, and created by focused effort and intent. And yet, true friendship, once recognized, in its essence is effortless. Best friends are formed by time. Everyone is someone’s friend, even when they think they are all alone. If the friendship is not working, your heart will know. It’s when you start being less than perfectly honest and pe

Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ by Dr. Roopleen (10th Review)

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Ms. Nafisa Begum for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** The book looked like an average read to me when I first picked it up. But as I slowly went through the pages, it started creating sense to me. In fact, I got deeply involved towards the end so much so that I skipped a day's meal to finish it off. There lies the success of the author. The book does have some gaps but that can be overlooked keeping in mind the topic. There are very few books in this genre written in India and it has a good market prospect from that perspective. The publisher will have to work hard to get good readership of this genre in India. They can plan for some good promotional plans to push the book to gain visibility. The book cover is ok, could have been made better. The author must focus on copy editing in her next books as there are quite a few errors in this book. Nothing but it hampers t

Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ by Dr. Roopleen (9th Review)

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Samuel for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** We have often heard people saying that cover makes the first impression for any book. But for me, the book title is of utmost importance. If I find a title catchy, then only I turn over the pages. Else keep it back from where I had picked it up. People call me crazy but that's how it appeals me as a book geek. Well, there lies the success of Dr. Roopleen's book which made me read till the end. Well coming to the contents, I did not find it extraordinary but the simplicity itself will be its selling point to young readers looking for initial days of success in their life. It does lack in basic research at places where she talks of self confidence and self belief, however the overall presentation is well packaged. Overall, would like to rate the book as 4.1*/5* and would recommend this book for young brains.

Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ by Dr. Roopleen (8th Review)

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Suman for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** Dr. Roopleen made a real promising debut with her ‘Principles of success’ which is a very promising Indian book on self-development. It is an easy to understand guide to chase success – whatever way one looks at the concept of success. As the book is written based on the practical experience of the author, the perspectives presented turned out to be fresh and not influenced by methods described in other books on self-development. The quotations used in the book enrich the reading experience. One point which we feel, the author can start doing from her next book is including a few more visual representations so that the principles get instilled in the minds of the readers in the form of mind maps. Overall, would rate the book as 4.9*/5* and we strongly suggest this book to the readers looking for success stories of known pers

Promotional Book Review of ‘Clandestine Waters’ by Sumit Vanjani (5th Review)

** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Prabhuprasad Paduchuri for doing a promotional review of the book on behalf of Literoma. ** Thanks to Literoma and Author for gifting a review copy of the book. Just completed the book, I am happy to share the thoughts that are uppermost in my mind. This is a brilliant book by a first time author Sumit. This book is a page turner. I completed this book in two sittings. The cover of the book is attractive and the title is very interesting. It is a great work to read for young students to inspire about life and its different phases. Loved the characters of Mr.Atul and Ms.Neha. So many young readers can relate their story in this book. I personally liked this sentence. ‘Something caught his eye – an unknown number! The message read “Happy New Year. No ac needed. Neha.” Chapter number two on texting is one of the best that I have read so far. I will rate this book as 4*/5* and will recommend for generic reading.

Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ by Dr. Roopleen (7th Review)

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Sabyasachi Mukherjee for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** We now a days have the habit of glancing through books, biopics, documentaries of great people to take snippets of what worked well for such successful people from diverse field and start striving to implement those processes in our lives at our fancies, without even analyzing if those processes, those circumstances those stages of life are akin to ours and hence many a time we face a failure. As “Life is too short to learn by trial and errors”, now here comes a gift from Roopleen to the society at large. I would really want to acknowledge this as a gift as like a seasoned motivational speaker Roopleen here doesn’t talk about the solution only here she first tries to analyze the problem statement, find the gap and then elaborate the solution through her fourteen step journey formula to success. Promotional Book Review of ‘Clandestine Waters’ by Sumit Vanjani (4th Review)

** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Suman for doing a promotional review of the book on behalf of Literoma. ** Thanks to Literoma and Author for gifting a review copy of the book. ‘Clandestine waters’ is the first novella from a seasoned speaker turned debutante author Sumit Vanjani. Literoma Publishing Services deserve a note of appreciation for helping this speaker out to become a published author. Neha as a desirable lady and Atul as a regular IT guy looked authentic. The narration is smooth – the reader can pick up this novella and complete it during one cab ride. Sumit had done a fairly good job in ensuring the story gets over before the readers gets bore. However, the story has quite a few opportunities for improvement. The time spent to build the climax and the time spent to bring the story to an end looked highly disproportionate – the end was quite abrupt. It was more of a sudden jerk than of a twist. The trigger of break-up and the subsequent explanations seemed way too cin

** Thanks to our reviewer Ms. Anwesha Ghosh for doing a promotional review of the book on behalf of Literoma. ** Thank you, Literoma Publishing Services and the author, for providing with the review copy. A debut novel by the author, I had a rather mixed review while reading the book. The title of the book is good and goes with the theme. It’s a short novel of only 105 pages so you can have a quick read of the book. The plot reflects realism and there is a vivid description of the city of Kolkata and the changes it has embraced with modern urbanization. The unconventional love story of Atul and Neha offers a fresh change to the readers. The art of characterization is good. The characters are quite real and exist in the day to day world. The character of Neha, her bold and outright personality brings a freshness in the concept of the typical notion of Indian women (which we get to see in the character of Simran) as a rather plain-Jane. That she is not put in a negative shade is a

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. Rupak for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** ‘Success’ is a heavily perspective-dependent term. With different persons come different perspectives and that’s why it’s immensely difficult to write a generic account on how to become successful. Though It has been attempted many a times by the western authors, it’s not very common in the eastern part of the world. If not for anything else, Dr. Roopleen deserves special appreciation for this effort itself. ‘Principles of success’ enlists 14 points which when followed, promises to play a role in making a person successful. The good point is these steps are easy to understand. Anyone can comprehend what the author intended to convey. However, at times, the author left too much of interpretation to the reader. The risk is that some readers may oversimplify the concepts and interpret those in their own ways without realizing

Promotional Book Review of ‘Clandestine Waters’ by Sumit Vanjani (2nd Review)

** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. R. Biswas for doing a promotional review of the book on behalf of Literoma. ** Thanks to Literoma and Author for gifting a review copy of the book. ‘Clandestine Waters’ by Sumit Vanjani is a a promising debut of author Sumit Vanjani. A big thanks to ‘Literoma Publishing Services’ for helping these young & budding writing talents to become published authors. The interest sparks about the book immediately when a reader looks at the cover page. It’s a fantastically designed cover which appeals to the conscious and sub-conscious parts of the mind. The content of the book keeps the promises made by the cover. Sumit is an award winning speaker and it got reflected in his story telling style. With a very simple choice of words Sumit ensured the story is weaved in a proper manner. However, there are scopes for improvement in the editing front. It highly lacked the professional touch. There have been some name mismatches in the contents. However, as a d

Promotional Book Review of ‘Clandestine Waters’ by Sumit Vanjani (1st Review)

** Thanks to our reviewer Mr. TK Mukherjee for doing a promotional review of the book on behalf of Literoma. ** Thanks to Literoma and Author for gifting a review copy of the book. ‘Clandestine Waters’ by Sumit Vanjani is a noteworthy effort by ‘Literoma Publishing Services’. The most commendable point about the entire attempt is that as a publishing agency, Literoma did a fantastic job by encouraging and working on a novella. Even though Novels and short stories always had familiarity amongst the reader fraternity, novella had not much been explored as a genre in India. We hope this book acts as one of the initial steps in building this much needed genre. Coming to the story part, ‘Clandestine Waters’ is the story of Neha and Atul – starting from how their love bloomed from an app cab ride to the various turns and twists of their romantic journey. The narrative is good. However, at times the story looked a bit dragged. Example, contentwise it would have better suited as a short

Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ by Dr. Roopleen (5th Review)

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. ** A book on success typically is meant for two types of readers – Firstly, those who are not so successful and want to be successful and secondly, for those who are already successful and want to stretch the boundary of their success further. The book by Dr. Roopleen may not be a perfect fit for the second lot. But it’s a book which the first lot just can’t afford to miss. It is quite evident that the steps are derived from the life-long experience of a medico. It’s, undoubtedly, always a fascinating idea to go through the life account of an accomplished professional. Dr. Roopleen expressed in the book that from being an eye-specialist, she wants to help others to become ‘I-specialist’. With her next books, Dr. Roopleen may plan to back the steps of success mentioned by her in the book by sufficient survey data points so that the recommendations become more stronger.  Overall, Literoma rates the book as 4.8*/5
