‘Zenova20’ by Reetwika Banerjee is a collection of 20 short stories on different subjects like travelogue, Human relations, Human emotions, psychology, untold sacrifices and many more. It is a pleasant roller coaster ride which takes you to zenith of literary satisfaction.

Author has done a splendid job by narrating stories in such a way that readers feel themselves as a part of it. Flow of events as well as language used is amazing.

I would love to do special mention of two stories, ‘fourteen years of unnoticed sacrifice’ and ‘Maa, are you listening?’

‘Fourteen years of unnoticed sacrifice’ is heart touching tale of sacrifice done by Urmila, who was Laxman’s wife in Ramayana which was never appreciated. The way Author has narrated it touches the heart.

Another one ‘Maa, are you listening?’ is the beautiful tale of relation between mother and daughter. The way a daughter keeps her mother alive within her sinks readers’ heart. I am glad to tell that now we can watch this amazing story on screen in form of Short film named “Hello Mamma”. It will be treat to watch such an amazing story on screen.

Overall, the author has done an amazing job. Literoma gives this book 4.9*/5* and highly recommends to its readers for a fascinating read.
