** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book.** ** Thanks to our reviewer Satabdi Mukherjee for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** If there’s one book you read this year, let it be this one. The cover says that it is “a book every doctor and medical student must read,” but I feel it might as well say, “a book everyone must read.” The insights shared are useful for all students as well as young, working professionals. When you feel like the universe is out to get you, pick up this book and read a chapter or two. You will realize that you’re not the only one facing challenges in life, and that it is possible to overcome all manner of difficulties and emerge victorious. This is a book you can read over and over again and should definitely be a part of your personal collection. Each of these stories teaches us how to maintain strong balance in between personal and professional life, by living on their ethics. This is not a quick read type book. It will take some time but is going to stay with you for a longer time. Writing style is simple and easily understandable. Each story deals with some amazing traits of doctors, their struggles, the path they followed on their road to success. This book is not just for "DOCTORS", any person can relate it to. I am an engineering student but can very easily relate to Dr. Ashok Khurana's struggles while trying to convince his father. I was also impressed by Dr. Dhanashree Ratna's determination and Badnami Dad's never give up attitude. With the end of each

I was pretty sure I am going to invest my time in something worthy. I may not be a doctor, or not even remotely related to the medical profession to know what warrants the huge respect that medical practitioners govern. However, this book opened my eyes to a world hence unknown and unseen by everyone else, that of the human side of doctors. While reading this book I came to know about the sense of vulnerability, that shows us how doctors are inherently human, they also had moments in their life where they really doubted themselves. The flow of this book was marvelous, I could relate to the challenges Dr.
