Who is AERO JACKSON? Read to know more.

First of all, congratulations for completing your journey from being just a student to an internationally published author! Please share your experience so far in light of below questions.  Who is Aero Jackson or Adrija Das in daily life? I am an easy going person more focused on short term goals. I write when I have to vent out pent up feelings and thoughts. It's my way of introspection. I love to travel expecially to hilly areas. When I'm too bored,   I jam with a song on my guitar. One thing I do everyday is read a book. Paperback, e-book, fanfuction doesn't matter what I am reading, one chapter each day is like a daily ritual to me. Why Aero Jackson and not Adrija Das?  I started writing under a pen name 5 years back so I decided to continue it's legacy throughout my writing career. The name Aero is a Greek gender neutral name meaning Ruler of the Sky. At the time I took it, I was a true admirer of Greek mythology. Jackson comes from Rick Riord

#LITEROMA Book Review :: "Potpourri : Stories for Children" by Urvashi Tandon

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a Kindle copy of the book for review. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** Children literature had taken a somewhat backseat in the last one decade or so. That’s why it’s so encouraging to see a book like ‘Potpourri : Stories for Children’ being written. It has all the ingredients of an authentic children book - starting from the cover design, illustrations to contents of the stories. The book has ten stories and each story has a lesson of its own. What stands out is the way the learnings had been taught. It’s not very easy to get the buy in of moral lessons from a modern day kid. It becomes possible only when the recipe of the book is such that it tastes great for them beyond their understanding. In this book the author Urvashi Tandon nails the bull's eye with perfection. My rating of the book is 4*/5*. It’s going to be a great read for kids and adults alike. Will look forward to the next book

1. You are at the edge of adulthood but your novel is A rated. Any thoughts on this? ■  I have always had a wild taste in books even when I was only a reader . I was a reviewer for a few years but I only reviewed thrillers . My proclivity in crime thrillers is clearly reflected in my writing as well .   The A rating suggests an intense narration which was a deliberate attempt to bring out the brutality of terrorism . While many might like to shut out the dark reality , none can deny the sheer horror of being subject to atrocities by militants.  2. How much of Aero can be found in your characters? ■ When I started writing my own book I decided to give all my characters a little part of my personality., both good and bad  It kept me committed to the story. I emphasize on loyal friendship a lot . One of my characters is highly inspired from a close friend . Some of my characters also have aggressive traits like unrestrained frustration  3. Is there anything you found chal

1.      This is your first published book...what made you compose this one? Ans 1:   I had been writing short stories over the past 10 to 15 years and many of these were published in in-house magazines. Some were also selected   for recognition too. Having travelled the length and breadth of the country, it dawned on me to distil some of my experiences in fact and fiction and create a bouquet of short-stories into a book. I have been a fan of the renowned writer, Sudha Murty and read most of her books and that was certainly an inspiration. 2.      What are your two most favourite short stories from your debut book? Ans 2.   “ The Gift of Love” and “Lost Memories”. Love transcends myriad odds in life and “Gift of Love” is based on a true event of Dharavi, although fictionalised. In “ Lost Memories”, we would like our readers to be sensitive to the growing cases of dementia in society. I have tried to depict the sublime love of a daughter for her father afflicted by su

#LITEROMA Book Review :: "Short, Not So Sweet" by Jatin Khandelwal

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a Kindle copy of the book for review. ** ** Thanks to our reviewer for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. ** "Short, Not So Sweet" is a collection of contemporary short stories written by Mr. Jatin Khandelwal. The contents are just what a modern reader looks for - a steady plot building, gradual ascent to climax and a sharp fall with a last minute twist. As they say, writing has undergone changes over the last few years. So, is the pattern of reading. While reading a fiction, majority of the readers nowadays like to go through quick reads instead of the slow-paced writings from the yesteryears. ‘Short, not so sweet’ addresses this very need of the modern day reader. As the title suggests, all the stories included in the book are short from a word count standpoint and so the reader can quickly go through the book while savoring the thrill the book presents. Overall, I would like to rate the book as 4.5*/5*. This Curfew w

Thanks to Manisha Yadava for sharing a review copy of the book with #Literoma. Thanks to our reviewer Arjun Sana for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. Well, in one word I am just overwhelmed with the poetic thoughts captured in each of the poem. Kudos to Manisha ji for gifting her readers with such a heartmelting collection of 35 Hindi poems. Written in simple language, but provoking enough to rouse one's thoughts from a feminist's eye. A great read on the eve of Women's Day. And I must not end my testimonial without appreciating the cover. Literoma did a splendid job, aptly justifying the contents of this book. Lovely cover!! It is a complete read for me. 5*/5* without a doubt. Read all our book reviews at our blog: https://literomagroup.blogspot.com/

#Literoma Book Review - 'Kash Tum Samajh Pate' by Manisha Yadava

Thanks to Manisha Yadava for sharing a review copy of the book with #Literoma. Thanks to our reviewer Akhila Saroha for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. "Kash Tum Samajh Pate" by Dr. Manisha Yadav is a poetry collection which is not just about one human understanding another but also the understanding of emotions that everyone feels but particularly written from the viewpoint of a woman. The poet has woven her thoughts and emotions in a few words in every poem which leaves a lasting impression on the mind of the reader. Poetry lovers can particularly enjoy the writing of Dr. Yadav. She explores the powerful roles a woman plays in her life individually in poems and also the power of a woman. She talks about the role of a mother in any child's life in "Maa ka astitva". At the same time, she explores the theme of power of a woman in poems like, "naari ki shakti", "Haari nahi hoon", "Zinda hoon", etc. She also explores he

#Literoma Book Review - 'Kash Tum Samajh Pate' by Manisha Yadava

Thanks to author for sharing a review copy of the book with #Literoma. Thanks to our reviewer Satabdi Mukherjee for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. Dr. Manisha Yadava is an inspirational figure, not only through her writing but also through her life struggles. She did not give up her dream to be a published poetess despite the various hurdles she faced. This collection of poems is a pleasure to read for its rich thought, beautiful word choice, and lyrical sentence quality. Dr. Yadava tackles a wide variety of themes--women's empowerment, homosexuality, communal harmony, terrorism, social media, different shades of love, myriad thoughts on life, and ends with an evergreen topic--Holi. My favorite poems are Mombattiyan, which is a satire on the hypocrisy of people who hold candle marches in memory of women who died due to sexual violence, Khuda Ka Khauf, where a murderer is berated for killing an innocent child, Pita Roopi Sasur, which is a tender ode to a loving
