Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: "Ramayana - Stand Strong" by Shubha Vilas

** Thanks to author Shubha Vilas for gifting us a review copy of the book.**

The tradition of re-telling Ramayana is almost as old as the epic itself. Author Shubha Vilas not only attempted it but did a decent job while doing so. ‘Ramayana - Stand Strong’ is the fourth book in the series written by the author. Hopefully the previous books of the series were also as engrossing as this one.

The book takes a very close look at one of the most critical episodes of Ramayana – Kishkindha Kanda. The narrative begins with the meeting of Sugriva and Hanumana – two of the most pivotal characters of Ramayana. The author is to be congratulated for providing the right amount of focus on the great Hanuamana. The writing style of the author makes it easier to read through.

However, one point where the publisher and the author should ponder is how to create a mass appeal for this kind of a communication product as it will not be very easy for them to market the book to a greater audience. Also, the cover page is not that appealing compared to the depth of contents inside.

Overall, Literoma rates it to be a 3.5*/5*. Looking forward to read more of such great works from the author in future.
