Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘FANTASTIC 40’ by Reetwika Banerjee (1st Review)

** Thanks to author for sharing a review copy of the book. **

** Thanks to our reviewer TK Mukherjee for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. **

The best part of the book is its concept - Micro Story (shorter than a short story) which is a national record created by the author.

From a reader's perspective, 'Fantastic 40' caters to the need of a modern reader. Each of the 40 micro stories are like a single shot of tequila. The complete book gives you a chance to enjoy 40 refreshing shots and in the end creates a hangover in its own right. The book has stories on some hard realities and also on some fantasy stuffs making it a true fantastic read. It was really a very promising debut book by the author. However it is definitely not the best book from the author's shelf.

Couple of the micro stories from this book have been turned into short films by Euphoria Films. I am lucky to have reviewed both the films.

Overall, Literoma rates this book 4*/5* and recommends for any age group.
