‘Isle of Mysteries’ by Kiran Das is a noteworthy effort by ‘Literoma Publishing Services’. The most commendable point about the entire attempt is that as a publishing service provider, Literoma did a fantastic job by encouraging and working on a fantasy novella written in simple Indian English by an debutante writer. Even though novels and short stories always had familiarity amongst the reader fraternity, fantasy novella had not much been explored as a genre in India. We hope this book acts as one of the initial steps in building this much needed genre.

Coming to the story, ‘Isle of Mysteries’ is an action packed plot set in the backdrop of pre-independnce era where lots of fictional characters, pirates, their ships, fights, treasure hunts etc take different turns and twists to ultimately discover a hidden treasure. Readers will surely enjoy the search through author's eyes. We will wait for his next book, may be a sequel of this?

Point to Note: The crisp word limit of the story ensures the reader can finish the book off in a single sitting. Happy reading!!

Overall, the book is an instance of wonderful effort by Literoma and Author. Recommended for generic and children fantasy literature.
