Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: 'Life - The Splendour' by Ram Prasad Bisoi (Kashyap)

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. **

As they say, “Never judge a book by its cover or title”. ‘Life - The Splendour’ is one of those exceptions which tend to change your take about the saying. As a reader, one will be tempted to defy the adage and just love the cover as well as the title of this book. And the content mostly lives up to the expectation set by the cover.

The book comprises of over a hundred poems, beautifully crafted by the curator Kashyap (pen name of Ram Prasad Bisoi). In many of his poems, we can see a realistic reflection of modern day society, especially in poems like 'The Lady Hawk' and 'The green lady love in grace'. His poems also talk about the solitary side of love in poems like 'Solace' and 'My insanity'. But of all the poems, my personal favourite are the last two poems in the book 'The fragments of love' and 'Love the predator'. Rightly said by the author himself, it's what an oxymoron indeed.

We wish Ram best wishes for his new book and will look forward to read more of his creations in the days to come.

Overall Literoma rates the book as 4*/5* and recommend it for a casual reading.
