'A bus ride: and other short stories' is a collection of only three lovely short stories by debutant author Biswajit Nath. Looks like the author loves travelling a lot as out of three, couple of them are set at the backdrop of train and bus journeys. The stories are narrated in a simple style, leaving an everlasting impact on its readers. Each of the plots can be well understood by anyone and everyone and there lies the beauty of this book.

My personal favourite of the three is "The Bookstall by the station". It clearly carries the author's love for books when he builds the character of the storyteller. And the storyline is an unfortunate truth of modern world. The other two stories are good as well but this one touched my heart the most. I will eagerly look forward to read more of his stories in future.

Overall Literoma rates it as 4*/5* and recommends for a quick 'on-travel' reading.
