Book Review by #LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘Love Lost in Transit’ by Devi Raghuvanshi

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book.**

** Thanks to our reviewer Reetwika Banerjee for reviewing the book on behalf of #Literoma. **

The best part of the book is its title. Many say don't buy the book by its cover. But I believe, judge the book by its title. If it's a catch phrase, then the choice of words play a very significant role in my reading decision. The moment I picked this book for review, I was sure to read it till the end in earliest possible time frame as the title had rung the magic bells in my mind. And I am happy that the author did not disappoint me till the end. It also ends with a good message from the author - the flip side of momentary decision making through the flow of events and principal characters.

As the title suggests, emotions might kiss death while moving ahead in life, but not the sexual desires. Sandra's character has been curated so neatly that she might arouse desirous feelings in many Indian women, especially divorcees. She is bold but not erotic. She is hot but not fleshy. She is young but not adolescent.

The cover page is not so exclusive, rather a little cluttered but it captures the theme of the novel so appropriately - the collage of two cities - an Indian city (Mumbai) and a German metro. Only recommendation, the core story starts without any table of contents (chapterwise index) that makes it a little abrupt for critical readers who start reading a book from the very title verso page.

The plot of the novel is very matured and is strongly recommended for readers who relish adult storylines with a pinch of erotica. I will like to rate the novel as 4.2*/5*.
