Book Review by #LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: "Looking Through the Prism" by Dr. Sujata Chatterjee

I personally believe, Poetry is a lot more than just a piece of literature; it’s something beyond that. 'Looking Through the Prism’ is a beautiful poetry book by Dr. Sujata Chatterjee which starts with an equally beautiful quote by The Prophet Kahlil Gibran "Let there be spaces in your togetherness."

The book comprises of only seventeen short poems where every word has been well penned and effectively moulded to create an instant magic in reader's mind. It is a collection of poems beyond love, hatred, anguish, feelings amalgamating emotions to fiction and some of them are beautifully represented through pictures. The poems beautifully reverberate around several emotions which we encounter in everyday life and reflecting on the way we react to it. I, personally being a poetry lover, have cherished reading almost all the poems.

To quote the poet,
"A laughter in the rainbow crowned
The hop in its shimmering smile
The path that my soul beckons to me
To walk that extra mile."

I will look forward to read more of her books in future. Wish her all the very best.

Overall I will rate the book as 4*/5* and recommend it for a wonderful reading.
