With all this, twisted and complicated stories on the run, simple yet sweet story would always be a breeze to the fiction lovers. Such is this story. In a nutshell, it is touching family based story embraces future, forgiveness and love with the tinges of politics and music.

Rukhsaar tells the tale of a woman from her love life to her old age. Rukhsaar, Protoganist from a well-affiliated family and Sameer An IAS Officer falls in love, get married. Post their marriage Sameer's life takes a little hard turns cause of friction between him and few politicians. Down the line, He loses his father-in-law. So he quits the job and starts music academy together with Rukhsaar. So to know about the climax of this story grab this one. That was the unexpected climax so far I know. No Spoilers.

This contemporary novel catches both good and flaws of quintessential of an Indian family and the social responsibility taken by the characters. It is quite impressive to say that the author has done a splendid job drafting the depths of the characters. His narrative style is vivid and lucid. Of course, the pacing of this book is too good that I didn’t get bored even for a minute. The silhouettes of an elegant woman trace in the cover is an absolute beauty which credits its theme. Overall, this book a complete treat for the light readers who loves constants.

My Rating: 4.5*/5*.
