Anicetus is an interesting character indeed. Apart from being a young daring fellow, he has multidimensional shades in his life just like the author himself. Is he a shadow of Srijoy? Now that can be a little nosy question, rather not get into it.
Coming to the overall novel, it's indeed a wonderful effort for a young lad of just 23 years. I read one of his interviews where he said that he lives in a Mini Cooper and am I to believe that? The kind of hardships he has voluntarily chosen to give shape to his debut novel calls for a toast. Definitely, there are some improvement opportunities in the plot as well as in the overall book, but what came out from a debutante US born Bong guy is commendable. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
My overall rating of the book is 4*/5* and it is strictly recommended for readers who enjoy full length novel over quick novellas. 261 pages cannot be read in a jiffy, it deserves committed time to enjoy the storytelling.
