#LITEROMA Book Review :: "Vitamin H - Vol 2" by Abhishek Vipul Thakkar

"Vitamin H : Vol 2" is the third book by author Abhishek Vipul Thakkar, an M.A. in English literature and young speaker hailing from Ahmedabad. I was lucky to have read and reviewed his previous volume as well which had 111 quotes. Can't stop but say, these 152 quotes published in this volume are your path to self-discovery, self-introspection and self-realization with a heavy dose of positivity. This volume too has quite a few unique points which I liked:-

1. The unconventional shape & size of the book - It's a square sized small book little bigger than a pocket read. Same as first volume.

2. The title of the book is very interesting - Vitamin H which has nothing to do with health or medicine.

3. The book contain 152 quotations which are NOT titled serially, but daywise. Well, it also continues as a sequel of first volume where it had ended on Day 111. It starts now from Day 112.

4. The interior is designed with an artistic butterfly, adding a special touch to the book.

5. The quotations are quite matured and philosophical, unlike his first volume which signifies author's philosophical maturity over the time.

My favourite quote from the book is:-

"Divergence is an antidote and not a malady.

Don't listen to authorities who fear rebellious flowers like you."

Improvement Suggestions:-

1. The book cover did not appeal my eyes at all. I would not have picked the book if the book title was different.

2. The book binding, print and paper quality (overall getup in a nutshell) need to improve to add a professional touch. Author might look for a quality publishing house to republish the book with global standard. This suggestion was there in my previous review too as far as I remember.

Overall, I will rate the book as 4*/5* and recommend for readers who enjoy positive thoughts, affirmations and "gyan" from a prodigy.
