Book Title: Blahman and the Terrifying Terror of Jesica

Author: Srijan Kabra

Language: English

Category: Comic Fiction

Type: Graphic Novella

No of pages: <100

Genre: Fantasy

Target Readers: Kids below 10 years

Well Blahman is back with his superpowers and a deadly clash with Jesica, the lady don! I remember reading Srijan's previous book and this being sort of a continuation of the previous story. This one too ends on an open note, so readers can very well expect his next graphic novel coming sometime in future.

The best part of the book which I feel is the fun filled imageries of a kid, especially the characterization of Mathematics Monster. It seems the kid has phobia for Maths & Science, which perhaps is getting reflected through such monstrous representations. It has a deep psychological connect with the author's mind. Right you are, the book is written by a kid himself, hardly of 12 years.

The cover looks good. This book too ends with some quiz questions for readers, which I think is very much in line with academics, a kid generally finds in his text books. Not so common in fictions, which adds up to the book's uniqueness.

Editing has improved a lot from previous book. However, my recommendation for Srijan remains the same - with due respect to all his skills, the script looked very common like popular POGO or CN programs. Parents might guide him to build original concepts from his next book so that it adds more thrill.

Overall it is a brilliant attempt by Srijan. My rating of the book is 4*/5*. I wish him all the very best with his future titles.
