Asheemita removes the suspense about why she made such a choice in the preface where she describes, in raw detail, how she began her journey in the world of poetry. Asheemita’s poems took my breath away with their richness, beauty, sensitivity, and insightfulness. The subjects span from slice-of-life observations to love and heartbreak to travel to simply musings. The ease with which she has woven real-life references into her whimsical lines is enviable. I’ve read so many poetry collections, but this one spoke to me differently. I could relate to the poems more closely. I could imagine some of them in my head–so vivid is the imagery. The free-verse format of the poems adds to their intensity of feeling. Author did a great job indeed in keeping her reader engrossed till the last poem. Here are my hits and misses:- HITS 1. Very sleek contents. The thinness compelled me to finish in a single reading.  2. Cover is very catchy, apt to its title. 3. Writing style is contemporary and so are her topics. She has brought out a poetic expression for almost all her adolescent emotions through this book. MISSES 1. Not really, but some lined illustrations could have added a little visual appeal. 2. The title and overall tone of the poems did not gel well for me. Probably, a more suitable title would have appealed a seasoned reader like me. I would like to rate the book as 3.9*/5*. The cover page and book title are very gripping and exciting at the same time.  Loved the fonting because to avid readers like me, reading experience matters a lot. The designer and author did a wonderful job in keeping a reader glued to the contents till the end. The poems are very short ones, though a handful are little longer, but the best part being the deep emotions pouring out of every line. Choice of words has been absolutely perfect.
